F.A.Q.s About Our Salsa Training Team
Who can join?
Anyone can join. There is no Audition to join our Training Team. To enjoy the most success, it is recommended that you have at least 6 months of dancing under your belt and can execute the follow: Basic Step, Cross Body Lead, Right Hand Turn, Copa and 360.
How long is the Training Team?
The series renews every month at the first Sunday of the month and runs 4 weeks. Many students opt to renew the series for maximum mastery and understanding of the concepts.
Do I need dance shoes?
We recommend you wear comfortable clothing you can move in (no jeans) and dance shoes if you have them. We can provide you with shoe coupons to purchase dance shoes at a great discount. If not, smooth soled shoes are highly recommended. No sneakers please. The rubber soles will have too much traction and cause discomfort to your knees.
Is this a performance team?
The training team is a non-performing team. The concepts we teach are for the social dance floor. We do not teach choreography in this series. If you would like to join our Performance Team, you may audition for the Performance Team at the completion of the Training Team series. It is highly recommended to complete the Training Team prior to joining the Performance Team.
How much is the Training Team
The Training Team is $75/month. You may take as many months as you feel comfortable to master the concepts.
